Chronology of Establishment
- To expand the adoption of Information Technology (IT) across all university activities.
- To conduct comprehensive planning and lead the development of UMS's ICT requirements.
- To provide essential ICT services, including hardware, software, networking, security, and applications.
- To act as the catalyst for UMS in pioneering and adapting new ICT developments.
- To define, enforce, and maintain all official ICT procedures within UMS.

To establish an innovative and high-quality ICT environment that supports academic and administrative excellence.
- To deliver efficient, effective, high-quality, and consistent Information and Communication Technology (ICT) management services across all levels of the university.
- To enhance service delivery through the adoption of Green Technology, promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility.
- To develop and maintain a robust ICT infrastructure capable of supporting the seamless flow and integration of information throughout the university.
To manage all ICT requirements of the Main Campus and Branch Campuses in a centralized and integrated manner.
- To provide ICT services, including procurement, to all Responsibility Centres (PTJs) in alignment with current needs, thereby supporting administration, teaching, learning, and research activities effectively.
