INTRODUCTION

The VirtualTour@UMS project is an initiative under the UMS Digital Plan 2023–2025, aimed at enhancing the university’s digital delivery systems. This project is expected to enable the general public to virtually explore and experience various indoor and outdoor spaces within UMS. To date, no similar product has been developed using this technology by the university. The inaugural version of this product is accessible via this site.

In terms of institutional impact, VirtualTour@UMS is also anticipated to significantly elevate UMS’s visibility as a higher education institution. It supports exploration for teaching and learning purposes, as well as university management and administration—specifically including tourism and revenue-generation sectors for the university.
